Reporting & Analyse

Automated reports provide precise, real-time analyses and support data-driven decisions for efficient fleet management. All relevant data can be individually analyzed, compared, and exported, while the TCO module clearly displays all costs. This allows companies to keep track of utilization, operating costs, and maintenance needs and identify opportunities to improve efficiency.

Customizable Reports Using Report Templates

The reporting feature allows for a comprehensive analysis of all data recorded in the software. Data points can be filtered, sorted, saved, and exported as CSV or XLS files. Reports can be created once and sent automatically, with intervals such as daily or weekly freely selectable. In addition, reports can be stored on an SFTP server for long-term analysis. Templates are available for new reports across various categories—such as users, vehicles, CO2 reports, or TCO overviews—allowing analyses to be created quickly and customized as needed.

Total Cost of Ownership Overview

The TCO module centrally tracks all fleet costs—from acquisition and operation to depreciation—and presents them in a clear, organized manner. Cost data is consolidated from various sources, resulting in a unified cost overview for each vehicle. Comparisons can be made between clients, manufacturers, or cost centers. Monthly overviews highlight trends, seasonal patterns, and irregularities. The centralized presentation of all relevant cost factors enables the identification of cost-saving opportunities, adherence to budgets, and a well-founded cost analysis for fleets of any size.

FAQ on Reporting & Analysis

  • Simply collecting data yields only raw data, whereas reporting is what transforms that data into actionable insights. Processed reports reveal correlations, trends, and anomalies that are not visible in individual data points. In this way, a collection of odometer readings, costs, and usage data becomes a reliable basis for fleet management decisions.

  • Key metrics include vehicle utilization, operating costs per vehicle or cost center, maintenance and repair expenses, and CO2 emissions. It’s also worth taking a look at user behavior—such as mileage or booking patterns—to identify over- or underutilization early on.

  • Regular, automated analyses highlight trends before they become problems—such as rising maintenance costs for certain vehicle types or declining utilization at individual locations. Instead of making decisions based on gut feelings or isolated cases, fleet managers can take targeted action, adjust budgets, or make well-informed procurement decisions.

  • Total Cost of Ownership refers to the consideration of all costs associated with a vehicle over its entire life cycle—from the initial purchase through ongoing operating costs to the loss in value upon sale or return. This holistic view prevents misjudgments that arise when only the purchase price is considered and makes it possible to compare vehicles, manufacturers, or cost centers over their entire useful life.

  • That depends on the metric and its intended use: Operational data such as utilization rates or fuel consumption benefit from daily or weekly analyses, while strategic metrics such as TCO comparisons or CO2 footprints are usually best analyzed on a monthly or quarterly basis. Automated reports sent at fixed intervals ensure that relevant information reaches the right people regularly and without any manual effort.
