AZOWO is committed to an accessible Mobility Cloud
AZOWO is committed to digital accessibility. The Mobility Cloud is designed to be accessible to all users, regardless of physical limitations. Accessibility is firmly embedded in our internal guidelines and functional planning. There are clear goals and defined responsibilities within the team, and implementation is regularly reviewed, both through self-assessment and using online tools.
The Mobility Cloud can already be used in an accessible manner in various ways. The display can be zoomed in up to 200 percent without losing any content. A screen reader or speech recognition software can be used to navigate most of the platform. Content can be displayed with high contrast, and images are provided with alternative text descriptions so that information is never conveyed solely through color.
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA and the German Barrierefreie-Informationstechnik-Verordnung (BITV) 2.0 serve as benchmarks. These standards are currently partially met. Full implementation of BITV 2.0 is underway, with completion scheduled for the end of November 2025.
Some limitations still exist. Certain functions cannot currently be operated entirely via the keyboard, primarily due to the complexity of individual visualizations. However, key areas such as login, registration, and contact are expected to be usable without a mouse soon. There are also gaps in automatically generated PDF documents; older files, in particular, sometimes lack the necessary structure or sufficient color contrast.
