How do the others do it?

We hear this question time and time again at AZOWO. In everyday fleet management, many face similar challenges, search for solutions, and wonder what approaches other fleet managers are taking. That's exactly why we launched AZOWO NEXT Day this year, and what can we say? Our vision is working!

A place that brings our motto to life

The past and future collided at Motorworld Inn Warthausen. We quickly transformed the location into an AZOWO space where our motto, “Shaping the future together,” was not only palpable but also visible. Lovingly decorated with an eye for detail, the location took our guests on a brief journey through the history of mobility. It was the perfect setting for our first customer day!

NEXT: More than just an event

After six months of preparation, November 12 was finally here. But what does NEXT actually mean?

N - Networking: Giving our customers the opportunity to exchange ideas and network with each other.

E - Experts: Together with our partners, we demonstrate the all-in-one concept of our platform and the solutions we offer together.

X - Xperience: Experience the full range of the AZOWO platform and discover features you may not yet be familiar with.

T - Talks: Presentations on topics that really interest and move our customers.

For us as the AZOWO team, the day was just as valuable. In long conversations, we were able to gain an even better understanding of our customers' challenges, address all their questions, and strengthen the human aspect. Feedback on current developments and topics that concern our customers in their everyday fleet management was particularly important to us.

The highlights of the day

Energy transition meets mobility

Marc Ritter, CEO of AEW Energie AG, gave us an impressive demonstration of the synergies between energy supply and mobility. The traditional energy system has had its day. Instead of centralized production and one-sided distribution, households are becoming producers themselves through photovoltaics, heat pumps are replacing oil and gas, and electric vehicles are being charged at home. Optimizing one's own energy consumption is becoming increasingly important.

His conclusion: "Every building and electric vehicle will become an active element in the energy system. E-mobility is helping to transform the energy system."

Panel discussion: From practice, for practice

Tobias Prechtl (Munich Airport), Vanessa Hindinger (EnBW AG), and Theresa Strobel-Vogt (Fraunhofer IAO) gave an honest insight into their everyday fleet management in our panel discussion. Why a digital fleet solution? What obstacles were there to digitalization? How important is e-mobility?

The half-hour talk answered precisely the question that was posed at the beginning: “How are others doing it?” The lively networking break that followed showed that there was a real need for discussion here. There were many “aha” moments and, above all, the realization that we are not alone with our challenges.

AI in fleet management

Jan Balazia, CTO of AZOWO GmbH, gave us an exciting insight into the possibilities of AI in fleet management. Fleet managers face complex decisions every day and have to process large amounts of data. The central question of his presentation was: How can AI help save valuable time and make better decisions?

A special highlight: Jan introduced our AI assistant, which will be available in the AZOWO Mobility Cloud starting next year. The vision at AZOWO is clear: Managers should be able to focus on the essentials, while AI takes over time-consuming tasks and supports them in their daily work.

A successful conclusion

We ended the inspiring day with delicious food, live music, and pleasant conversations. The atmosphere was relaxed, the discussions intense, and the exchange valuable.
