Networking - EnBW optimizes fleet management with the AZOWO Mobility Cloud
EnBW manages a fully electric shared pool vehicle fleet of around 200 vehicles spread across several locations in Germany. The biggest challenge was to replace the existing scheduling tool and reduce numerous manual processes in daily fleet management.
With the introduction of the AZOWO Mobility Cloud, EnBW was able to import all relevant data in its entirety and establish centralised management:
✔️ Administrators and users now have flexible access to the system via any internet-enabled device.
✔️ Key figures and trends can be monitored in real time.
✔️ The solution is integrated into EnBW's corporate identity design, which has noticeably increased employee acceptance and satisfaction.
About a year after the introduction, an initial customer satisfaction survey was conducted. Thanks to the valuable feedback and the partnership with AZOWO, new functions were integrated into the booking portal, significantly increasing user-friendliness: photos of all electric vehicles, supplemented by brief information on range and recommended use for each vehicle class, now make it easier for around 30,000 employees to get started with electric mobility on their business trips.
The Mobility Cloud offers particular advantages in day-to-day business: vehicles can be easily booked by class, automatic allocation ensures clarity, and all bookings are transparently sorted by status. This means that reservations, active trips, and cancellations can be tracked at any time.
EnBW thus benefits from a clear, efficient platform that reduces administrative effort and enables intuitive use by employees.

🎙Talks: Did you know? Here's how to keep your logbook correctly and save time and hassle!
The video showed what a digital logbook can look like. But why is a digital logbook worthwhile in the first place?
A logbook is more than just a record of mileage. It serves as proof for the tax office to secure tax benefits or to fulfill tax obligations correctly. To do this, it is necessary to document exactly when, where, and for what reason a vehicle was used. It is also important to clearly distinguish between business trips, private trips, and trips between home and work.
What needs to be considered? For a logbook to be accepted, it must
- be complete, comprehensive, and kept up to date
- be tamper-proof
- make every change clearly traceable
Whether the actual travel costs can be claimed for tax purposes or whether the flat-rate 1% rule or mileage allowance applies depends on how carefully the logbook is kept (Section 6 (1) No. 4 EStG).
What information is required? 📝 According to R 8.1 (9) No. 2 sentence 3 LStR, this includes:
📅 Date of the trip
🚗 Mileage at the start and end
🎯 Destination and purpose of the trip
👤 Driver and the business partner or customer visited
Digital, simple, legally compliant: With the AZOWO Mobility Cloud, your logbook becomes a breeze. 🚀
