Networking - Recap: AZOWO NEXT Day 2025
Shaping the Future Together – Our First Customer Day Was a Huge Success!
Two weeks ago, the first AZOWO NEXT Day took place at Motorworld Inn Warthausen. The location was perfect: the past met the future, lovingly decorated with an eye for detail. Guests were taken on a brief journey through the history of mobility—a fitting setting for our first customer day.
“How do others actually do it?” We hear this question time and again at AZOWO. Many fleet managers face similar challenges and are looking for solutions. This is exactly where the AZOWO NEXT Day was meant to start: facilitating exchange, learning from one another, moving forward together. And the vision paid off!
For the AZOWO team, the day was just as valuable as it was for the guests. The in-depth conversations helped us understand our customers’ challenges even better. The feedback on current developments and the issues that truly matter in day-to-day fleet management was particularly important.
We wrapped up the inspiring day with delicious food, live music, and pleasant conversations. The atmosphere was relaxed, the discussions were in-depth, and the exchange was valuable.
Thank you to everyone who attended and made the first AZOWO NEXT Day the success it was!

AZOWO’s Vision – When AI Becomes a Digital Assistant
Fleet managers face complex decisions every day and must process large amounts of data. When do lease agreements expire? Which claims need to be processed? How are the vehicles actually being used? The real challenge: Managers often don’t understand their fleet as well as they need to in order to make optimal decisions.
The vision at AZOWO is clear: AI should save fleet managers valuable time and support them in their daily work and decision-making. Managers should be able to focus on what matters most, while AI takes care of the time-consuming tasks.
The first step is already a reality: The AZOWO Mobility Cloud collects the enormous amounts of data generated daily in the fleet and structures it. The AI document management system already recognizes 30 different document types with an accuracy of nearly 96 percent, from vehicle registration certificates to damage reports.
The next step: an AI assistant that answers specific questions about your individual fleet. Unlike general AI assistants, it combines AI intelligence with the concrete data of your fleet. It understands natural language and provides precise answers to specific questions, whether as text, a table, or a graph.
Experience - Starting in 2026: AZOWO Mobility Cloud makes home charging possible without a wallbox
Good news for everyone promoting e-mobility in their fleets: Starting January 1, 2026, a new legal regulation will allow for the billing of home charging sessions based on vehicle data, without the need for expensive wall boxes, flat rates, or charging cards.
Legislative change simplifies home charging
In the future, the vehicle’s internal meter will suffice as proof; expensive wallboxes or flat-rate billing will no longer be necessary.
“This legislative change is an important step for e-mobility in company fleets,” explains Patric Schneider, CEO of AZOWO GmbH. “For the first time, employees can easily charge their company cars at home using any outlet, and billing is handled fully automatically via vehicle data. What is already running successfully in Switzerland is now becoming a reality in Germany—and we are technologically ready.”
How Fleet Plug@Home home charging works
The AZOWO Mobility Cloud receives charging data directly from the vehicle via OEM interfaces and automatically processes it. No expensive charging station required, no hassle when employees change jobs, full transparency for fleet managers. Thanks to the modular platform architecture, vehicle data from all brands can be processed.
The benefits: Significantly cheaper than public charging, no investment in wallboxes, minimal administrative effort, and the ability to take advantage of lower nighttime electricity rates.

Charging infrastructure for employees
Temporary use of company wall boxes for private purposes is tax-free
